These two events are connected as they both involve suicide bombers attacking a very important place, only in my article, there were many different examples of suicide bombers, all in Casablanca.
I find this topic very interesting because it is a very big part of terrorism. I am very interested in this because at KLMUN (Kuala Lumpur Model United Nations), I was in the General Assembly 2 committee. This committee talked about the issue of combating terrorism. I have been interested in that subject ever since.
I liked the initial posting very much, because of the amount of detail in the post. Farrah had the exact numbers and data. She also had a possible solution to this problem. She would talk to George Bush and tel him to stop the war. Again : very detailed. The pictures really make a statement. They show what happened after the attack, and they show it in clear detail.

1. I learned a lot about Renaissance people today. I learned when and where people were people were born. I learned how they lived, how they grew up. I learned who they were and why they were famous. All of these facts were very interesting, and I really enjoyed listening to those interviews. Knowledge is power, and I gained a lot of power today.
2. If I were to do to do this again, I would try to make my interview have more detail. I would also make the recorded part more interesting, not just questions and answers. For example, I would mabye try to get some dialogue in the interview as well as some funny remarks. The funny things however will be related to the topic: Jan van Eyck.

Jan van Eyck was a Flemish painter. He has made many paintings such as: The Ghent Altarpiece: The adoration of the Mystic Lamb. He made it with his brother, Hubert van Eyck. He has also worked as a court painter for Philip the Good, the duke of Burgundy. He uses a mixed style to painting which is a combination of the styles of different artist.

What is the issue?
Bill Gates is going to meet with the Russian president about their missile defense program and setting up missile bases in certain countries in Europe.
Who is involved?
The American government is involved and the Russian governments.
Who is affected and how?
The Russian government is affected because they they are the ones with the project, and the American government because they are are sending the representative.
What would I do if I was directly involved?
If I was directly involved, I would go with the representative and tell the Russian government the effects of their project, not only the up sides but also the downsides.

Q. People in the Middle Ages who went on the Crusades were often prepared to give up their lives for a cause they believed in. Are there any modern day issues which inspire people to act like this? Explain.
A. Some Muslim people attach a bomb to themselves and set it off in a car, a building or in a plane. They do this in belief that Allah will then make the world a better place if they sacrifice themselves. Take 9/11 for example. Not only was it an act of terrorism, it was also an act of religion, for studies have found the hijackers and found that they all come from Muslim countries. Undoubtedly religion had something to do with all this.

What is the issue?
The issue is that Japan is going to continue whaling and lower the whale population drastically, and could throw the balance of the world’s ecosystems off balance.
Who is involved?
Japan and the IWC are involved.
Who is affected and how?
Japan is affected because thet are the ones doing the whaling. The rest of the world is affected because the whaling will throw the world’s ecosystems off balance. The whales are also affected because thet are the ones being hunted.
If I were in a position of power, what would I do?
If I were in a position of power, I would contact the world environmental protection service, and I would also try and stop the Japanese from whaling any longer.
